About Allison

I’m just another confused 20-something weirdo living in the Los Angeles.  Difference is, I was born here.  That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.

I work full time and go to school at night, slowly chipping away at college trying to be an art major, and ultimately a graphic designer, and ultimately a full time awesome person.  I fill up my remaining time with volunteering, friends, and being an exceptionally ridiculous individual who will quote mid 90’s sketch comedy and Far Side comics like they were gospel.

I like animals. And art. And absurd humor. and tattoos.

I have no themes or rhyme or reason to what I post or why I post it. This blog was born in April of 2008 and to this day I still have no clue how many people read this thing, and how many of them are strangers who find my crazy just entertaining enough, and how many are family and friends who (inexplicably) haven’t gotten enough of my crazy in real life. I just write when I need to write, and try to make it as little rambly as possible.

Though it will still be rambly. After all, I am Allison.

I’m just another not quite misfit, not quite crowd pleaser, not quite genius trying to figure out what the hell they want.  In the meantime, I’m gonna make some bad choices, read a lot of books, make some art, listen to some music, Oh and have some adventures, because I’m a 20-something with awesome friends and itchy feet living in one of the biggest cities in the country. And document the whole damn thing.
In a hopefully eloquent, poignant, clever and interesting fashion. 
Though I still crack up at a good “your mom” or “that’s what she said” joke.  Because I’m classy.
